Mrs. Sybil Yvonne Pearson

Services for Mrs. Sybil Yvonne Pearson will be held Monday, August 11, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Webb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Boles, Rev. Kim Culpepper, and Rev. Ronnie Boles officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2014 from 5 7 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Mississippi Veterans Cemetery in Newton. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Pearson, age 77, of Meridian passed away on August 5, 2014 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was born on November 2, 1936 and lived in the Causeyville Community. After completing High School at Beat 4 she went into training to be a nurse. After getting her nursing degree she went to work for St. Joseph Hospital, Anderson Hospital, and the Medical Pediatric Clinic. She worked as a nurse for over 46 years. She was a member of Evangel Temple Church. She loved her children and grandchildren. She always put God first, family second, work third, and herself last.

She is survived by her Husband of almost 46 years, Preston W. Pearson Sr. Three Sons, Brad Richardson Barbara, Rodney Pearson, Preston Pearson Jr. Trish Daughter, Cindy Hagwood Billy Grandchildren, Tiffany Watson Joey, Nick Richardson, Alan Hagwood Ashley, Ashley Holdiness Corey, and Ethan Cox Five Great Granddaughters Sister, Carol Simon Brother, Bobby Joe Martin Bettie numerous nieces and nephews and a very special friend, Joann Bradley.

Pallbearers are Billy Hagwood, Keith Martin, Ricky Joe Shirley, Ronny Shirley, Alan Hagwood, and Darron Martin.

The family request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to American Heart Association.
