Tobias Alexander "Toby" McDade

Funeral services for Toby McDade will be held Saturday, July 29, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., at Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church, with Bro. Rick Green and Bro. Aubry Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, July 28 from 5-7 p.m.at Webb & Stephens North.

Toby, age 5, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023.

Although Toby was austistic, he communicated in his own special way with “Toby hugs” and kisses. He loved cars and trucks of all kinds, but really he was fascinated by just about anything with wheels. Toby was so full of life and love and his ear to ear smile lit up any room he was in. He was energetic, fearless and so much fun. His mom, Jennifer, is an artist and Toby was following in her footsteps by using art as another way to express himself. Toby touched many lives in his short time on earth and each minute with him here was a blessing.

Toby is survived by his parents, Benjamin and Jennifer McDade; sister, Aryanna Rose McDade; “Granny”, Beverly Joyce Raines Sellers; grandfather, Daniel “Papa Dan” McDade; uncle, Jeff Sellers; great-grandmother, Elma Jane McDade, as well as an aunt, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, David Taylor.
