Services for Mr. F. Tomas "Tom" Jones will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 am with visitation on Monday, November 25, 2019, at James F. Webb Funeral Home from 5 to 8 pm. Interment will be in Suqualena Methodist Church Cemetery with Masonic rites.
Tom, as everyone knew him, passed away on November 21, 2019, at Anderson Regional Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was a retired Rush Hospital Nuclear Medicine Technologist. He was an active member of Masonry, he was a member of Suqualena Lodge F&AM #418 having served through all the chairs and becoming a Past Master, he was a 10 year District Deputy Grand Lecturer, he was a Past Grand Secretary of Mississippi Grand Lodge, Secretary/Recorder of the Grand York Rite Bodies, member of Hamasa Shriners and a 33 degree Scottish Rite Mason. He was fire chief for Suquelena volunteer fire department for many years and very active in his community, getting the nickname of "Mayor of Suqualena". He was an active member of Suqualena Methodist Church for several years. He will be greatly missed by his brethren, but he is in the presence of the Supreme Grand Architect and at peace.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Linda Jones; Son, Tommy Jones (Amber); Daughter, Dawn Teffeteller (Matt); Daughter, Lori Fulton; Son, Gary Guerra; Grandchildren, Lila Phillips, Olivia Hodges, Mason Teffeteller, Aaron Teffeteller, and Rachel Fulton; numerous cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd M. Jones and Idelle Carpenter Jones.
