Tommie Therrell

Graveside services for Tommie G. Therrell will be held Saturday, at 11:30 a.m., at Magnolia Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Smith officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Therrell, 91, died Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was retired from South Central Bell Telephone and a member of the Telephone Pioneers.

Survivors include her two nieces: Fonda Holladay of Newton, and Shirley Bufkin and her husband Marion of Decatur and two nephews: Rodwick Windham of Steamboat Springs, Colo., and Douglas Saget and his wife Etta of Aberdeen.

She was preceded by her parents, Thomas and Ella Gibbs her husband, C.W. Billy Therrell and her son, Jerry Renee Therrell.

Pallbearers will be Hagan Staton, Don Shehane, Joe Chambers, Carl Crenshaw, Philip Price and Marvin Gibson.
