Velma Boswell

A funeral Mass will be held for Mrs. Velma Boswell on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010 at St. Patrick Church at 12:00 p.m. with Father Frank Cosgrove officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, January 25, 2010 at James F. Webb Funeral Home from 5 7 p.m. Mrs. Boswells body will lie in state at the church on Tuesday from 11:00 until service time. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Boswell, age 99, went to heaven on Jan. 22, 2010. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lamar Boswell. She was a long time resident of Meridian. Her vocation in life was being a care giver and she did that well. She returned to her family home in Rose Hill to take care of her handicapped brother and there she resided for many years until her death.

She is survived by her son Joseph Boswell, her daughter and son inlaw, Melanie and Bernard Theobald, her daughter Martha Ann Burdick, and her daughter and soninlaw, Rose Mary and Jim Anderson, her sister, Sister Mary Teresa Finnegan, and her sister Martha Rose Burns, she is also survived by her sisterinlaw Nell Sharpton and her brotherinlaw Don Boswell and his wife Pauline. She was blessed with 5 grandchildren, Cindy Martin, Charles Theobald, Kim Bustard, Marla Anderson, Jenny Anderson and seven great grandchildren, Bryan Martin, Kristen Martin, Zachary Martin, Taylor Theobald, Shelby Theobald, Randall Bustard and Blake Bustard. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Pallbearers will be Charles Theobald, Scott, Bryan and Zachary Martin, Randy and Randall Bustard, Charles Finnegan, Marvin Martin, Ray and Ashley Lewis, Ronnie Finnegan, Freddy Bergen and Dan Gorgas.
