Victor Wilkerson

Services for Victor Wilkerson will be held Friday, February 7th, 12:00 p.m., at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bob Followell, Bro. Jimmy Culpepper, and Bro. Ray Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Center Grove Baptist Church.

Mr. Wilkerson, 80, of Meridian, passed away Friday, January 31st at his residence. Victor enjoyed being outdoors, his favorites were fishing and working in the yard. He also loved Saints football and NASCAR.

He is survived by his wife, Johnnie Mae Wilkerson; daughter, Vickie Lanter; grandchildren, Laura Rautenberg (Michael), Josh Lanter (Kira), and Amber Page (Andrew); five great grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Gorey (Bill); brother, Gerald Wilkerson (Mary); sisters-in-law, Betty Wilkerson and Rachel Wilkerson; numerous nieces and nephews; special friend, Deannie Hopson; and his dog Maggie, who was his baby.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Audeane Wilkerson; sons, Ronnie and Robert Wilkerson; and brothers, Billy Ray and Kenny Wilkerson.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00-8:00 p.m., and an hour prior to service time on Friday.

The family wants to give a special thanks to Southern Care Hospice, especially to his nurse, Amanda and aid, Pam.
