Mrs. Virgie E. Roberts McCarra

Services for Mrs. Virgie E. Roberts McCarra will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donald Gentry officiating. Interment will be in Hebron Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Clarke County. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. McCarra, age 95, of Meridian, passed away on February 28, 2011 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center South in Meridian, MS. She was a lifelong member of 8th Avenue Baptist Church.

She is survived by her Sons, Rufus Sonny McCarra Jr. and his wife Gayle and Scott McCarra Four Daughters, Pansy Mosby and her husband Joe, Peggy Johnston and her husband Harold, Pat Oldham and her husband Jim, Kathy Scarbough and her husband Darrell Twelve Grandchildren Nineteen Great Grandchildren and Five Great Great Grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Rufus M. McCarra Sr. Parents, Wesley and Ella Jane Privett Roberts Sisters, Claudie Flowers, Ludie Barnett, Lessie Rainey, Adell Morgan, Cora McCarra, Ruth Ceaser One Brother, Wesley Roberts.

Pallbearers are her nephews.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at Webb Funeral Home from 12 1 pm.
