Services for Virginia Gale Jolly will be held Thursday, November 17th at 1 p.m. at Webb Chapel with Brother Jack Giles officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery with Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Jolly, 62, of Gautier, MS, went home to Jesus on Sunday, November 13th, 2016 at Ochsner's Hospital in New Orleans, LA.. Gale was a devoted daughter, sister, and aunt. She enjoyed traveling, word games, gardening, cooking, and entertaining. Ms. Jolly was a dedicated teacher who was committed to advancing the French culture and language with her students. A teacher for more than 20 years, Gale taught French at Gautier High School in Gautier, MS, and had been there for 11 years.
Virginia Gale is survived by her father, Jerry Clyde Jolly; her sister, Linda Dianne Jolly McDonald and husband, Chris; nephews, Michael McDonald, and his wife, Jennifer, and J.D. McDonald; great nephew, Adrian McDonald; great nieces, Gabrielle, E'Owyn, and MiaKoda McDonald; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a very special friend, Randy Zeller.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. at Webb's Funeral Home in Meridian, MS.
