Virginia Mcallister

Services for Mrs. Virginia O. McAllister will be held 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, APril 29, 2009 at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Carl White officiating. Visitation will be he held Wednesday, April 29 from 10:00a.m. untill service time at Webb Funeral Home. Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. McAllister, age 82, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2009 at Jeff Anderson Hospital in Meridian, MS. She was born to Homer and Iva Mae owens in Booneville, MS in 1926, She was a member of Highland Baptist Church in Meridian, MS where she was a Sunday School Teacher and also a leader of the Go-See-Do Group. She had worked as a Realtor in the Meridian area for 34 years.

She is survived by her two sons Mike McAllisger and his wife Jerrri of Philadelphia, MS and David McAllister of Meridian, MS; Daughter in law, Judi McAllister of Meridian, MS; Four Grandchildren, Michael McAllister and his wife Telethia, Sheila Monroy and her husband Jose, Daniel McAllister and his wife Pam, and Steven McAllister. She is also survived by Seven Great Grandchildren, Alisha McAllister, Jennifer McAllister, D.J. McAllister, Trever McAllister, Stephanie McAllister, Taylor Hardy, and Carmen Monroy; Once sister, Nancy Hopper of Cullman, AL; Sister in law, Geraldine McAllister of Meridian, MS; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Jack McAllister; Son, Steve McAllister, Billy Moore, Phillip Moore and Ted Gamhill.

Honorary pallbearers will be John Smith, Mickey John Semmes, Jose Monroy and W.C. Winstead, Michael Knight.
