W. Walton Moore, Jr.

Graveside services for Mr. W. Walton Moore, Jr. will be held Tuesday at 11:30 am at Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. Raymon Leake officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Moore, 87, of Meridian, died Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Audrey Lee Moore daughter, Zona Leigh Strickland and husband Mark three granddaughters and four great granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Walton Moore, Sr. and Mattie Louise Moore his son, W. Walton Moore, III and a sister, Delilah Branning.

Pallbearers will be Jody Bryant, Julian Wall, Mike Eubanks, Jimmy Eubanks, Leonard Eubanks, Bruce Martin, Ross Tingle, Jimmy Tingle, David Foster, and Gaius Tew. Honorary pallbearers will be the Round Table Coffee Club.
