Wally Hudnall
A celebration of life service for Wally Hudnall will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church with Dr. Raymon Leake and Rev. Gregory Baylor officiating.
Mr. Hudnall, 65, of Meridian, passed away Friday, October 23, 2015 at his home.
Wally was born in West Point and moved to Meridian when he was a boy. He was very athletic and played All American football two years in a row while in High School. Wally was a very well respected business owner and was very involved in the community, having been a member of the Civil Service Board. He was a kind and generous man whose strength and positive attitude during his battle with ALS was an inspiration to all who knew him.
Wally is survived by his loving wife, Dianne Hudnall; daughters, Paige Hudnall (Chris) Bailey, and Holly Hudnall (Blaine) Whitehead; grandsons, Montana and Grey; father, Sam L. Hudnall; sisters, Sarah Hudnall (Jimmie) Lee and Judy Hudnall (Dan) Thornton; nieces, Jennifer Hopkins, Katie (John) Murphy, Clancy (Marcus) Willis, and Brooke (Justin) Knight; numerous great nieces and nephews, as well as many, many special friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Inez Hudnall; and is special nephew and hunting buddy, Benjamin Lance Haguewood.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made in his honor to ALS Association, PO Box 66825, Baton Rouge, LA 70896, or to First Baptist Church Meridian.
