A memorial will be held for Walter Keith Adams at James F. Webb Funeral Home, 2514 7th Street, Meridian, MS 39301 on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 11:00 am. Interment will be at the Dayton National Cemetery, a VA cemetery in Ohio.
Walter Keith Adams, 69, of Meridian, MS passed away September 1, 2018 after a long struggle with cancer. Keith was born in Mt. Vernon, Ohio on March 25, 1949 to Merrill and Ruth Adams (Frye). He spent most of his life in Richwood, Ohio until his work for Teikuro brought him to Meridian. He retired from Teikuro in 2014 after 22 years of service.
He served his country in the Navy from 1967-1971. He achieved his lifelong dream of getting his private pilot's license and owning his own plane. In 2005, he was one of the founders of Civil Air Patrol squadron in Marysville, Ohio sharing his love of aviation with young cadets. In recent years, he became an avid golfer and enjoyed playing in a league regularly at Lakeview Golf Course.
He is survived by his daughters Christina (Greg) Berry and Angie Adams and his sister Patty (Robert) Perkins.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother David Adams.

A special thank you to his friends in Mississippi that have been by his side and supported him during this difficult time and to Stephanie Steve in Ohio for being by his side for many years. We are especially grateful to Dr. Jennifer Frost and the staff at the VA in Jackson for providing Keith with such exceptional care.
