Wanda Carol Chaney

Services for Wanda Beckman Chaney will be Monday, January 29, 2024, 1:00 p.m. at Webb & Stephens Funeral Home-Union with Bro. Jody Chaney officiating. Interment will follow at Little Rock Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Mrs. Chaney, age 71, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024.

She was a resident of Little Rock, Mississippi. She was born in Neshoba County to Lucille Dunn and Hershel Beckham on February 12, 1952. She was a graduate of Neshoba Central High School. In 1969, she married Bro. Danny Chaney of Little Rock.  She was a faithful helpmate to her husband’s call as he pastored churches throughout Mississippi and Louisiana for over fifty years.   During that time, she also worked at schools within the areas they served.  She was a member of Rock Branch Baptist Church in Union, Mississippi. 

Survivors include her husband, Danny Chaney of Little Rock, MS; her sons, Kendall Chaney (Gilian) of Little Rock, MS and Jody Chaney (Meagan) of Little Rock, MS; daughter, Donna Brunet of Ellisville, MS; grandchildren, Danielle Shelby (Brenton), Reagan Chaney, Ethan Chaney, Grant Byrd, Rhett Ivy, Morgan Chaney, Emma Grace Brunet, Macie Chaney, Drake Ivy, and Jonah Chaney ; great grandchildren, Leo and Ava; sisters Kathy Addy (Larry) of Decatur, MS, Julie Richardson (Kenny) of Preston, MS; sister-in-law Frances Beckham of Philadelphia, MS, and a host of nieces and nephews 

She was preceded in death by daughter Cynthia Ivy; her parents, Lucille and Hershel Beckham; brothers Edward Beckham and Otis Beckham.  

Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
