Services for Willard Franklin Weir will be held Friday, August 2nd, 11:00 a.m., James F. Webb Funeral Home with Rev. Chuck Overby officiating. Burial will follow at Meridian Memorial Park.

Mr. Weir, 75, of Meridian, passed away Monday at Rush Specialty Hospital.

Willard loved to sing and play the drums. He was also a Minister and loved the word of God. He will be most remembered for being a devoted husband, and loving father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife Sherrill Weir; children, Angelia Welborn (James), Franklin Weir (Haley), and Rebecca Follet (Adam); step children, Donna Chambers (Lamar), Debra Mathis, and Dana Smith (Jim); grandchildren, Carson Weir and Jackson Follott; numerous step grandchildren; brother Willie Ray Weir; and sister, Dorothy Wyrick.

He is preceded in death by his wife Lula Weir.

Visitation will be held two hours prior to service at the funeral home.
