William Ray Cook

Services for TSgt William Ray Cook will be held Friday, November 7, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the MS Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Newton with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

TSgt Cook, 43, passed away at his home in Lakeland, TN. He retired after serving 20 years in the Air Force where he received numerous commendations for his leadership and management as a recruiter. He recently graduated from LEcole Culinaire, Memphis. He also graduated from S.D. Lee High School in Columbus and earned a degree in Human Resources from the Community College of the Air Force.

He is survived by his son, Chandler Cook daughter, Caitlin Cook both of Helena, Alabama father, SMSgt Raymond Cook and wife Leslie of Meridian mother, Delores Ramage and husband Duke of Nebo, KY sister, Betty Dew and husband Bryan of Madison step sister, Molly Skipper niece, Emily Dew and nephew Jacob Dew of Madison aunts, Patty Williams of Abilene, Texas and Barbara Underhill of Big Rock, TN and his uncles, Pat Cook of Clarksville, TN and Tim Cook of San Jacinto,California.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jon Clevenger of Lakeland, TN and retired MSgt Ken Teague of Knoxville, TN

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be sent to Wounded Warrior Project.
