William David Gaddis

Services for William David Gaddis will be held Thursday, September 8, 2022, 1:30 p.m. at Webb & Stephens Funeral Home-Downtown with Bro. David Schultz officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Sageville United Methodist Church Cemetery. Webb & Stephens Downtown is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mr. Gaddis, 74, of Meridian, passed away Monday, September 5, 2022.

David was known as “Tractor Dave”, driving his tractor all over. He was a dedicated member of Sageville United Methodist Church. He never met a stranger, always smiling and happy to see them. He was also known to be generous, doing anything for anybody. He will be greatly missed by the community and all who knew him.

He is survived by his brothers, Edwin Martin Gaddis (Marsha), Thomas Benjamin Gaddis (Sandy), Gilbert Lee Gaddis (Lynn), and Richard Scott Gaddis (Kathy), all of Meridian; sister-in-law, Chris Gaddis of Florence, MS; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded is death by his parents, Edwin Herschel and Mary Louise Shill Gaddis; and brother, Michael Shill Gaddis.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to Sageville United Methodist Church.
