Services for Willie Pete Schanrock, Jr will be held, Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. at James F. Webb Chapel, with the Rev. Earl Wheatley officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park with James F. Webb Funeral home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Schanrock, age 76, of Meridian, died Sunday, May 23, 2010 at Specialty Hospital. He was a graduate of Meridian High School class of 1952 and a Navy Veteran. He was a member of Northpark Church of God. He sold mens fine clothing for over 55 years, he began his career at Buds Menswear and worked for over 25 years at Marks Rothenberg, he also worked at Capital Menswear, Willies Menswear and T.J.s Menswear. In the 1970s, he also worked as an Auxiliary Park Policeman in Highland Park.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Morgan Schanrock of Meridian daughter, Dawn Holley and husband, Rusty of Meridian son, Chris Schanrock and wife, Sheri of Meridian daughter, Elise Fuller of Collinsville grandchildren: Chad Smith and wife, Sara of Georgia Meagan Holley and Ashley Holley of Meridian Matt Schanrock of Meridian Morgan Boone and husband, Carl of Collinsville Shauna Anthony of Collinsville Jimmy Jenkins and wife, Stefanie of Collinsville great grandchildren: Evan Smith, Hannah Cochran, Jackson Anthony, Piper Anthony, Jace Jenkins and soon to be born twins, Lane and Lexie Jenkins a special pet, Tawney.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie Schanrock, Sr. and Elsie Duett Schanrock.

Pallbearers will be Keith McCary, Harry Meyer, Jim Robinson, Chad Smith, Matt Schanrock, Jimmy Jenkins, Carl Boone and Robert Loeb. Honorary pallbearer will be Travis Sullivan.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 25, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral home.
